GIRLS VOLLEYBALL PROGRAM PROVIDES FREE CLINIC FOR CYO ATHLETES

February 9, 2018 By Team Up 4 Community Leave a Comment

Although the high school volleyball season finished some time ago, the Lady Firebirds never stop sharing their love for the game, no matter what month it is!

Over the last few weeks, Kellenberg athletes from both the junior varsity and varsity programs provided free skills clinics to over 90 CYO players who ranged from the fifth to the eighth grade! Future volleyball players benefited from both the dynamic demonstrations and the instructional pointers given by the Lady Firebirds.

Volunteering to share their passion with these up-and-coming stars were sophomores Maggie Caffrey, Krista Handler, Julia Merz, and Emily Acimovic; juniors Mackenzie Good and Jenna Doyle; seniors Trinity Manning, Kylie Grubb, Molly Perrotta, Grace Cullen, Madison Gale, and Tara Hagerman. They are tremendous athletes who recognize that we begin our human journey with love, and that of all of the gifts we have been given, as St. Paul tells us in Corinthians, the greatest of these is love!
